Beauty Bakerie. Beauty Bakerie is a makeup brand. It started off with the founder sitting at a Sunday church service. It was nearing the holidays and when the founder and her daughter were there, there were empty bags underneath each seat with a list of items to donate to a family in need. The founder was waiting anxiously for the service to end so she can buy all the items on the list for this family and it dawned on her that she used to be on the receiving end of gifts like these. It made her remember all the challenging times in her life from not having a car to waiting for donated coats to finding out that her food stamps office had lost her paperwork. Her challenging times is what lead her to create Beauty Bakerie. It started off as an idea and it eventually grew to something more. The sole reason for creating it was to “be better, not bitter” because of the challenging and difficult events in her life that could have made her bitter but instead, made her a better person. She created this business to prove to others that they can overcome their hardships and obstacles. Now in November 2018, Beauty Bakerie has signed a deal to release their products in specific Ulta Beauty locations. Because she did not want to face another illness, she turned her small idea to life and created her own skincare line. She traveled and researched to Morocco to find the perfect ingredients for pure, natural and minimally processed beauty products and once she did, she took the jump to create MUN.
